  • Founder / CEO

    Ben Reigle is the founder of Tarpon Health, a community of providers focused on automation in revenue cycle. Ben has expertise in revenue cycle, M&A, finance, strategy, business development, and data-driven performance. Ben created the popular revenue cycle and business podcast "My Good Friends," which he produces and hosts. With this platform, he tackles tough subjects with some of the foremost experts in the industry. He actively creates original content on LinkedIn with posts, articles, and videos that consistently challenge the status quo in revenue cycle and healthcare.

    With over 20 years of experience working for and with healthcare organizations in various roles, Ben founded RCM Leaders Forum in 2018, a community where revenue cycle leaders can innovate, collaborate, and investigate opportunities for industry growth. Prior to Leaders Forum, Ben co-founded Healthrise in 2012, a consultancy working with multiple healthcare organizations on revenue cycle strategy and operations. He also led the revenue cycle practice for McKinsey and Co.'s healthcare venture, Objective Health, and spent six years helping form Accretive Health (R1), a revenue cycle consulting firm, leading client engagements with major hospital systems.

    He is an enthusiastic tennis player and Metallica fan and enjoys reading YA fiction, going to the movies, and traveling with his wife and teenage daughters.

  • Director of Community

    Nick Malenka is the Director of Community for Tarpon Health. With a deep background in revenue cycle, technology, change management, and thought leadership, Nick brings a wealth of expertise to the table. Known for his ability to unravel complex issues and present them in a compelling and understandable manner, Nick leads the Tarpon Community to challenge the status quo, create strong relationships, and tackle the complicated and untamed world of automation in revenue cycle.

    Nick has 15 years of experience working on complex healthcare problems at the Advisory Board Company, General Electric, and Olive. More recently, he has been developing custom technology across many operational areas, showcasing a pragmatic mindset that permeates all aspects of his work.

    Outside of work, Nick is an enthusiastic cyclist, backpacker, and woodworker and has recently ventured into the realms of dance and photography.

  • CFO

    James Stanford co-founded Tarpon Health with his former McKinsey colleague and friend Ben Reigle after attending an RCM Leaders Forum in 2022. At that Forum, a group of the nation’s leading revenue cycle executives expressed their urgent need to take back control of their automation initiatives by building infrastructure and expertise within their organizations.

    James heads up the Finance function for the company as an Executive Board Director. He is also Fitzroy Health’s representative on Tarpon’s Board of Directors. James is a Managing Director of Fitzroy Health, a venture firm he co-founded in 2015 that builds new tech-enabled companies to serve healthcare organizations. He is the founder of 6 companies and sits on the boards of Tarpon Health, Salute Safety, and DosedDaily. He is also an Executive-in-Residence for Mass General Brigham in Boston. Prior to Fitzroy, James was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company, Client Service Director for Objective Health, and a Director at The Advisory Board Company.

    Outside of professional endeavors, James is a board member of the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival and enjoys tennis, cycling, theater, and travel.

  • Director of Consulting

    Adele Brettschneider is the Director of Consulting for Tarpon Health. Adele’s deep experience in revenue cycle consulting, EMR optimization, and automation enhances her project management and process improvement skills. This experience allows her to lead Tarpon Consulting with deep expertise and empathy for the complexities within healthcare. She prides herself on truly understanding her client’s needs and bringing innovative and relevant solutions forward.

    Adele started her career at Triage Consulting Group, setting the foundation for her revenue cycle and project management experience. She built on this foundation with experiences at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Guidehouse Consulting, and Olive AI, where she focused on revenue cycle operational and technical improvements both internally and through large client engagements.

    Outside of work, Adele enjoys spending time with her family, exploring her historic Atlanta neighborhood, and discovering new music.

  • COO

    Helen Richards Lamons is the Chief Operating Officer at Tarpon Health. Helen focuses on streamlining processes to help health systems save time and money in revenue cycle so they continue to invest in life-saving treatments for their patients. Helen has 15 years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management Operations.

    Before Tarpon Health, Helen was the Senior Vice President of RCM for Advata (formerly Colburn Hill Group), overseeing Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Client Success, and Customer Service. She led high-performing teams committed to improving their customers' experience and bottom line. Helen gained additional experience at Welltok, focusing on engaging employees in their health. She also worked at Pharos Health, helping patients with chronic condition management and improving value-based care. Helen started her career at R1, where she spent significant time managing the end-to-end revenue cycle, with emphasis on the back cycle.

    Helen graduated from Vanderbilt University as a Division 1 College Golfer. She still enjoys golfing today. She resides in Denver, Colorado, with her husband and two small children.

  • RPA Excellence Manager

    Nick Lyons is Tarpon Health’s RPA Excellence Manager, specializing in delivering RPA solutions and providing insight into both the technical and operational aspects of engagements. Nick's industry knowledge, creativity, and problem-solving skills harmonize to deliver excellent service.

    Over the last several years, Nick has collaborated extensively with operational healthcare leaders across the country, assisting them in achieving their RPA goals and solving complex issues within various EMRs. His experience and industry insights gained during prior engagements equip him with best practices related to modular RPA applications, operational ROI, and data management, among other areas.

    In his spare time, Nick enjoys golfing, fishing, shooting sporting clay, and spending time at his family's lake house in Northern Michigan. You can find him engaged in any of his favorite outdoor activities depending on the time of year.
